Hi there!I’m Alison
Before I became a registered dietitian, I was where you are. I know how it feels to constantly worry about what you should or shouldn’t eat and to feel like your body isn’t good enough. Life is too short to constantly feel restricted. It’s time to feel like you’re in control and not the food. I’m here to show you food and body freedom are possible for you too.
I struggled for years witH dieting, over-exercising, and body image too.

My story •
I’ve been thinking about food for as long as I can remember. I started packing my own lunches in 3rd grade, following the guidance of the Food Pyramid. By middle and high school, playing competitive sports made me hyper-aware of my body, and I struggled with constant comparison.
In college, that awareness spiraled into strict food rules, over-exercising, and maintaining my reputation as “the healthy friend” while studying nutrition to become a dietitian. I believed that if I could control my food choices, I could control how my body looked.
The turning point came when I discovered Intuitive Eating in one of my nutrition classes. I realized I could trust my body and enjoy food and movement without rules. Over time, I let go of the obsession with “clean eating” and started listening to what my body truly needed to feel its best.
Now, as a registered dietitian, I ironically think about food and my body less than ever. I eat without stress and move in ways that make me feel strong. You deserve the same—a life free from diet culture, so you can focus on what truly matters: living a full, joyful life on your own terms.
